Overview

A synthetic small molecule belonging to the furopyrimidine class. It is an experimental compound with no approved medical indications. The primary known mechanism of action is inhibition of serine/threonine-protein kinase Chk1 (checkpoint kinase 1), a key regulator in the DNA damage response pathway and cell cycle control. This compound has been studied as a potential checkpoint kinase inhibitor for research purposes but has not advanced into clinical development or approval for any disease. Its molecular formula is C22H21N3O4 and it is also referenced by code names such as AK-IN‑1 and DB08392.
